Please review these terms before booking your appointment. By booking with Summers Studio Co, you agree to the policies below.

Booking and Appointments

All appointments are scheduled through Vagaro. A valid email address or phone number is required to book. Please arrive on time for your appointment, as late arrivals may result in a shortened service to stay on schedule for other clients, or may need to be rescheduled depending on availability.

If you are unsure which service to book, a complimentary consultation is available and recommended for first time clients, color corrections, or major changes.

Deposits and Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 30 percent of the scheduled service price is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service.

We understand that plans change. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Cancellations made with at least 24 hours notice may have their deposit transferred to a rescheduled appointment.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, and no shows, will forfeit their deposit.
  • Repeated late cancellations or no shows may require a larger deposit for future bookings.

We understand that emergencies happen and exceptions may be made at the stylist's discretion.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to settle in. If you anticipate being late, please reach out as soon as possible. Arrivals more than 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time may need to be rescheduled and treated as a late cancellation.

Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept major credit and debit cards, and other payment methods supported through Vagaro checkout. Prices listed on this website and in Vagaro are starting prices and may vary based on hair length, density, and the specific work requested. Any price changes will be discussed and confirmed with you before your service begins.

Gratuity is not included in service pricing and is always appreciated but never required.

Hair Model Program

From time to time, discounted services are offered to clients participating as hair models. As part of the New Client Consent and Liability Waiver, hair model clients are asked whether they authorize the use of photographs and videos of their image and hairstyle for business and promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and marketing materials.

  • Hair models must select yes to photo and video use in order to receive the hair model discount.
  • Photos and videos may be taken before, during, and after your service for portfolio, educational, and social media purposes.
  • You may be asked to provide honest feedback about your experience and the finished result.
  • Hair model services may take longer than standard appointments and may involve techniques the stylist is actively practicing or refining.
  • You have the right to discuss the planned service in detail beforehand and to decline any technique you are not comfortable with.

Service Results and Liability

Every effort is made to achieve the result discussed during your consultation, and your stylist will communicate honestly about what is realistic for your hair's current condition, history, and texture. However, hair color and chemical services can be unpredictable, and results may vary based on factors outside the stylist's control, including previous color treatments, products used at home, and hair health.

Please disclose any known allergies, sensitivities to chemical products, or recent chemical services (including box dye, keratin treatments, or relaxers) prior to your appointment. Summers Studio Co is not responsible for reactions or outcomes resulting from undisclosed information.

Before your first appointment, all new clients are required to complete a New Client Consent and Liability Waiver, sent through Vagaro. This form acknowledges that hair services are received voluntarily, accepts the inherent risks of hair services including allergic reactions, irritation, hair breakage, and unexpected color results, and confirms your preferences around photo and video use as described below.

If you are unhappy with your service, please reach out within 7 days so the concern can be discussed and, where appropriate, corrected.

Personal Belongings

Please keep valuables with you during your appointment. Summers Studio Co is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items.

Health and Safety

If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment rather than attending in person. This helps protect the health of your stylist and other clients. Appointments rescheduled for this reason will not be charged a late cancellation fee.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time as the business grows and policies are refined. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued booking of appointments after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
